The Role

This is an office based role with flexibility around core working hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Manual/Automated test plan execution
- Sanity testing, smoke testing, regression testing, integration testing
- Back/white/grey box testing
- Functional and non-functional testing
- Test plan creation
- Test case definition and implementation
- Configuring test automation frameworks
- CI/CD pipeline test integration
- Defect reporting and supporting with issue triage/analysis
Essential skills
- 3+ years experience in a software testing environment
- A methodical approach to work with attention to detail
- A passion for technology and desire to learn
- Proactive, driven and willing to take ownership of problems
- Works collaboratively as part of a team
- Clear concise communication, both written and verbal
- Experience with bug/issue tracking systems e.g. Jira, etc
- Experience with version control e.g. Git
- Experience with a scripting language e.g. Python, Javascript
Beneficial skills
- Testing experience in a Digital TV environment.
- Knowledge of Digital TV standards e.g. DVB, HbbTV
- Experience with content player testing e.g. Youtube, Netflix
- Experience with test management systems, e.g. Testrail, Xray
- Experience with CI/CD integration e.g. Jenkins
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Experience with automation tooling e.g. Selenium, Playright
